The Air Doctor app offers you additional support to find medical help quickly and easily while travelling.

The service is available to all Protrip World customers for up to 12 medical consultations per year for new and unexpected illnesses - without any upfront payment.  For dental treatment, one consultation per year is covered, with reimbursement of up to €500. Preventive check-ups are not included.

You can use this app to make appointments with one of more than 20,000 doctors worldwide within a few minutes or simply use telemedicine.

Direct settlement

No advance payment - costs are settled directly up to 12 times per insurance year. For dental treatment, a consultation with up to €500 reimbursement is included.

Registration in four steps: 

  1. Log in to Air Doctor. 
  2. Enter your insurance number. 
  3. Air Doctor immediately checks the insurance coverage.
  4. You will be activated and can use Air Doctor immediately.

Specialists or general practitioners from 61 countries are available to you via the app. Your visit to the doctor is cashless and without out-of-pocket expenses. Billing with your insurer is uncomplicated via the app. Use Air Doctor when travelling for outpatient treatment for new and unexpected illnesses.
